Manubhai Mecwan is from India, led to the United States by God to share the gospel with the Indian community in this country.
Mecwan first visited the US in 1999 when he had the opportunity to attend the Billy Graham School of Evangelism. While here, he noticed the vast group of Indian immigrants who had no knowledge of Jesus or the gospel and he couldn’t help but reach out to them. Mecwan’s message of salvation through Jesus Christ was received with excitement and interest by the Indian community. As he was welcomed into their homes and lives, Mecwan felt God calling him to be a light to the Indian community in the US. He traveled across states, finding support and watching God open doors for him before he had to return to India.
In 2005, Mecwan was granted two years leave to come to the US and continue pursuing God’s calling for his life. Mecwan’s wife, Roshanben, and his two daughters joined him in May of 2008 and together, they began Faith Community Fellowship, a ministry with the goal of taking Jesus to the Indian immigrants in the US. Mecwan and his family live on the East side of Indianapolis and continue to reach out to the Indian community through events and prayer meetings.
